“I highly recommend Alyssa from True Colors. Finding activities that truly engage my daughter is not easy, so having in-home Music Therapy has been wonderful. My daughter has multiple disabilities and is non-verbal. That being noted, I appreciate the warmth and patience that Alyssa brings to her sessions.

 Besides singing, Alyssa introduces a variety of instruments, and gently encourages exploration through touch and sound. I like that Alyssa creates opportunities for communication. She offers my daughter choices using picture symbols for songs, bands and genre.That back-and-forth participation and communication keeps my daughter engaged and connected throughout the session.
